EVENT DESCRIPTION: A musical festival celebrating Bristol's musical heritage. "The Birthplace of Country Music" Held annually on State Street in Historic downtown Bristol, TN/VA the third weekend in September. Festival offers hundreds of performances celebrating the musical heritage of our region. Enjoy bluegrass, jam-grass, Americana, Celtic, country, folk and singer-songwriter. Festival dates: Sept. 18-20, 2009.
